they don't make'em like this anymore.......

If you go back and watch any of these movies today, you'll probably laugh. Hell, i know you will, but when they came out.....OOOH....I wore out my the reels on my VCR watching Christian Slater bombing that hill or Cru Jones racing around the impossible Helltrack. These films inspired me growing up in rural Kentucky. I guess these movies are partly responsible for my back surgery I had last year, too........damn it Keanu Reeves!!!!!

    The only reason I have kept my VCR is to be able to watch RAD. By far my favotire moving.

    For the younger generations it is impossible to imagine a time when "adrenaline"themed sports were merely a footnote to stick and ball sports. To see a movie with BMX, skateboarding or surfing was a treat. Suffering through lame story lines, obvious stunt doubles and weak portrayals of a lifestyle that was deeply personal was a small price to pay to see our passions splashed across the big screen or under our command with the "slo-mo" and "freeze" functions. Thanks for bringing these masterpieces back in our consciousness. Time for a trip to the attic!
